Blackwater Meadow Marina is located by the Llangollen Canal on the outskirts of the beautiful market town of Ellesmere in Shropshire which dates back to at least Anglo Saxon times.
The marina provides great cruising in one direction across the magnificent Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (Now a World Heritage site) to Llangollen which nestles within the beautiful Dee Valley in the North East of Wales.
In the other direction you can travel through rural countryside and small villages toward Hurleston Junction on the Shropshire Union canal and then on to places like Chester, Middlewich, Market Drayton and many more.
